"Okar" vs. "Yellow Martians"Edit
Unless you have evidence that the Okar nation is the only Yellow Martian nation on all of Barsoom, I am going to revert this page back to its previous title. -- Gnostic 23:16, November 6, 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, that is not what the claim is. Okar is specifically stated to be the racial name of the yellow martians in warlord of mars
- the end of page one 166 my friend, a hard to notice but important detail.

I thought these guys had "great black beards and mustaches"?. Those illustrations are not quite up to your standards, I'd say.Transversal 09:24, July 30, 2011 (UTC)

I mean . .. . I think the ONLY existing illustrations of yellow martians up to this point are in the Jesse Marsh years . . . . and they had so little facial hair they practically had anti facial hair ralok 11:08, July 31, 2011 (UTC)
I would like to propose merging the Okar Nation and Okar pages into "Yellow Martian" for these people, in line with similar naming conventions for the Reds and Greens. The lead section could note that the Yellows refer to themselves and their their kingdom as "Okar", and appropriate expansion sections added to contain the Nation information.
I would also like to suggest a similar change for the Black Martians, making "Black Martian" the main page, with "First Born" redirecting to it instead, as I agree with earlier arguments to the effect that the "color-name" is likely better and more well-known for the encyclopedia.
