Stone Snakes were monsters grown from the rocks of Barsoom; a growth stimulated by the technology in Stara Kans mechanical arm, planted in Helium. Because they were made from the stone, they could grow miles in length. Emerald colored blasts from these creatures eyes could turn people to stone! Once the mechanical arm wars destroyed, the stone serpents disintegrated!
