A large flowering plant known to be found in red martian and thern gardens and growing in profusion in every depression of the hills that held Barsoom's scant moisture longest. It seems to come in two varieties, a small type found in thern gardens, small enough to be trampled by human feet, and a large variety found in red martian gardens.
